 Ecology policy of JSC "Vyborgskaya cellulose" is directed to reduction of ecological load to the environment by means increasing of
reliability, guaranty of safe work of technological equipment, introduction of effective technical solutions and new technologies to minimize environment pollution
level, exactly:
- economic activity of the mill is realized on basis of licenses for water usage, permission for discharge, limits for waste placing, received in established order in Administration Rostechnadzor, as well as insurance obligations, reflected in insurance policy;
- realized transfer of boiler house from fuel oil to gas allowed to reduce average annual maximum single concentrations of dashes in gases coming out, gross discharges of basic polluting substances reduced during 3 last years and, despite of main production capacity increase, comprise 68-70% of maximum permissible discharge level;
- in accordance with new sanitary requirements inspection of the mill was held by specialists. On base information got during inspection a new project of sanitary safe mill zone was developed, that gives opportunities to solve problems of housing construction on the territory of former sanitary safe mill zone;
- at biological purification station of the mill new press separators FAN –
"PSS" were installed for dewatering of sediment of purification plant and its further burning in multi-fuel boiler
"OUTOKUMPU". Introduction of this technology allowed to avoid accumulation and keeping of wastes in storing place before the dam, as well as to reduce ecological load at Vyborg gulf;
- organization and taking of works about instrumental control of quality and quantity of discharges into atmosphere, control of polluting substances discharges together with effluent into nature springs and their influence on hydro-chemical conditions of reservoir is realized by sanitary-industrial laboratory of the mill, which is accredited State Standard of Russia for technical competence in accordance with requirements GOST R ISO/MEK 17025 and is registered in State list.;
- the enterprise puts into practice cooperation with other industrial companies within framework if international project
"Ecoinfor-II", which has a purpose to create preconditions for recycling of wood and energy industry wastes in road construction and development of wastes recycling processes taking into account new ecologically and economically profitable methods.
Purification stations, built by company "UIT" (Finland), guarantee biological purification of industrial as well as housework drains of the mill and settlement Sovetskiy. Equipment for purification of gas discharges is installed.
